The URV, the third university in Spain in collaborative research with companies, with a notable impact from TecnATox
The Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) ranks as the third university in Spain for collaborative research with companies, according to the CyD Foundation report. It stands out for its high proportion of joint scientific publications with companies (20.88%) and its significant technological impact, being the second university in scientific papers cited in patents. Part of this success is attributed to the work of two key research teams: the Centre for Environmental, Food, and Toxicological Technology (TecnATox) and the AMIC group. In 2023, both groups conducted research totaling 2.5 million euros.
